Our week in pictures

Phonics everywhere! Yasmin has noticed that two magnets can join together to make the letter s.
Using vibrant inks to create the cover for our portfolios.
 Salt dough.
Looking at weight. How many bags of flour would balance you on the scales?
Threading - wonderful for improving fine motor skills and for making beautiful colourful necklaces.
Concentration and creativity at the mark-making table.
Practising writing the letters we have been focusing on - s, a, t, p, i and n.
Making bubbles, having fun and building up shoulder strength to improve pencil control.
 Soapy fun.
Look at what Karen helped us to build!
Watch out, Kiara is a fast driver!
Seat belts on and let's go.
 Forest School
We found: feathers, acorns, bark, lichen, grass, seed pods and leaves.
The dinosaurs need to be rescued from the ice.
We scraped some of the ice away with the spoons.
Meanwhile, others are concerned with domestic life in the house and are busily inventing stories and conversations.
The magnetic letters help with practising blending.
Using sellotape to hold together sheets of paper Henar made a massive 'page' just like in the story 'Ernest'.
Look at this dinosaur habitat we've set up.
Finally! After lots of scraping and tapping, some of the dinosaurs are released from the ice. Can you think what we sprinkled on the ice to make it melt quicker?
