Everyone reads and story time

Sharing stories and books is fun, important and highly valued in our classes. Through our current unit of inquiry we are exploring how books and stories can help us make sense of our world. This week the children enjoyed reading stories with Mrs Steinson and Simon. Mrs Steinson joined in with ER (Everyone Reads) and Simon shared one of his favourite books from childhood - Harry the Dirty Dog.
So, did you let the pigeon drive the bus? Mrs Steinson reading with a group in K2C.

ER is a great time to share a book with a teacher, friend or one of the parents. Often a little group forms and generally one book leads naturally into another.
 M. Couteau loves to read stories to the K2s.
Harry made us laugh when he got so dirty that his family no longer recognised him!
Simon was impressed with K2's listening skills. He said, "I can tell you love stories."
