Today we took out the pattern blocks and used them collaboratively for the first time. VK noticed that they are different shapes and spotted a diamond. Some children balanced them and made character - MGV made a man with a jaunty hat. LR made lots and lots of fish. MGG made a growing carpet. Three girls worked as a team to make a wonderful garden of flowers. At the end of the session we looked through the photos together and the children explained their creations and what they were thinking about as they worked.
