In phonics we have learnt the letter k and it's windy outside so the obvious thing is to make our own kkkkkk kites. 

Catalogue collage -dressing ourselves appropriately for the weather. Lots of interesting discussion and decision making. 

Making play dough. Do you want to print in the play dough with the Numicon? Yes, but we'd rather make birthday cakes and count the number of candles.
